THERE IS NO ONE LIKE THE LORD OUR GOD
Keywords 8:10b
Moses replied, "It will be as you

1.
The plague of frogs (1-7)
Again the LORD sent Moses to
Pharaoh, commanding him, “Let my people go,” and again Pharaoh refused. This time frogs teemed
forth from the Nile in overwhelming numbers and covered the land. The magicians
were able to summon frogs from the Nile by their secret arts. But the frogs
still covered the land. Their secret arts could not undo God’s power or plan. Pharaoh’s response this time would be
different.
2. Moses cried out to the LORD (8-15)
Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron,
seeming to yield to God’s command. Moses saw the opportunity for Pharaoh to
know that there is no one like the LORD our God, so he told him to set the
time. Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD did what Moses asked. God’s power and identity were clearly
revealed. Yet Pharaoh hardened his heart when he saw there was relief from the
frogs, just as God had said. Moses was growing as God’s servant step by step.
Prayer Father, there is no one like you,
mighty in power, who hears and answers our prayers. Help me grow in confidence
in you as a prayer servant.
